How to Plan a Girls’ Cruise with Friends

Embarking on a girls' trip aboard a cruise ship promises a voyage filled with laughter, relaxation, and unforgettable memories. Planning such an adventure requires careful consideration to ensure every moment is as enjoyable as possible for everyone.

I highly recommend planning a cruise for your next girls’ getaway. It provides everything you would need just outside your stateroom door. Cruises provide your entertainment, several dining venues that are included, and a limited non-alcoholic beverage list included, but you can upgrade it. Cruises also include trivia, sports, and a multitude of live music venues. It has numerous choices for the adventurous or for those that just want to hang out with their girls.

Depending on how large the group of women is, it will become harder to plan because there are more people that have opinions. Unless someone or two becomes the group leader, you will need to decide by consensus the itinerary, ship, number of days, and the amount that it will cost per person for your vacation. This will differ for most, but will need to be decided on before deposits and payments can be made. When you purchase your cruise, everything except the daily gratuities are paid for and you can pay for these ahead of time with the cruise payment.

Depending on how many ladies are traveling or just you and your bestie, there are additional perks if you have a larger group sailing. Some choices include on board credit, or a cocktail party, or even a bottle of wine waiting when you board the ship. It is always nice to have a gift when you arrive. When I traveled with a large group of ladies, we had both a cocktail party and on board credit. It was wonderful to hang out and dance with the group.

There are a few cruise lines that specialize in adults only cruises, while contemporary cruise lines, depending on the ship, offer adults only areas on the ships. Some of the adults only cruise lines have minimum entertainment, but do include all specialty dining. These lines tend to be a bit pricier. The contemporary cruise lines are often less expensive and offer so many options on the medium to large size ships. On these ships, the adults only area usually has a pool too, so it is wonderful to have the separate space but have all the amenities of the large ship.

As your girls' cruise adventure comes to a close, it's time to reflect on the laughter-filled moments, the breathtaking views, and the bonds strengthened over shared experiences. From meticulous planning to spontaneous adventures, this journey has been a testament to the power of friendship and the joy of exploration. As you disembark, carry with you the memories of this incredible voyage and the anticipation of future adventures together. Here's to the next girls' trip, wherever the currents may take you!
